Today, Armenia is an active participant in international processes. Armenia has chosen the path of sustainable democracy, deeper integration with its sister countries in Europe and European institutions. Armenia is a part of European civilization, enshrined in the Christian heritage. Historically Armenia and the United Kingdom have an inextricable connection and mutual positive influence. With this project we want to fix this fact in the person George Byron.

In addition to historical ties between Armenia and the United Kingdom, friendly relations between the countries have been maintained throughout history. The reconstruction of the English Park in Yerevan and the installation of the Monument to George Byron will be a very important occasion for strengthening bilateral relations and consolidating historically close ties.
